To further enhance the value and scarcity of $AGENT, AgentLayer successfully completed its second token burn on December 30, 2024, burning a total of 487,000 tokens. This burn once again reduced the circulating token supply. Prior to this, AgentLayer had completed its first burn on November 30, with the combined burns accounting for 1.49‰ of the total token supply. This move significantly bolstered market confidence in the value of the $AGENT token.

The AgentLayer Airdrop Season 2 aims to reward AgentLayer's most loyal community members, including AI Agent product users, $AGENT holders, APGN node holders, community contributors, and active participants in Testnet Phases 1 and 2. The airdrop snapshot was completed on October 30, 2024. Eligible participants can visit the official Airdrop page (https://agentlayer.xyz/rewards/airdrop) from December 29, 2024, 00:00 UTC, to March 29, 2025, to claim their rewards. The airdrop distribution will follow a 6-month vesting plan, ensuring that participants gradually receive their due rewards and collectively share in the project's growth dividends.
The Stake MAX event runs concurrently with Airdrop Season 2, providing a three-month window for wealth appreciation. During this period, staking $AGENT tokens offers the opportunity to earn up to a 200% APR. Early APGN node investors have recouped most of their investment, while token holders benefit from increased token scarcity and growing demand. Since its listing on September 18, 2024, $AGENT has been listed on major exchanges including Gate.io, BingX, Bitpanda, and Uniswap, with Bitrue also onboard. AgentLayer plans to expand its global market presence further by listing on more boutique European exchanges in Q1 2025.
AgentLayer aims to build a decentralized AI collaboration network as the foundational protocol layer for the future Agent Economy. By providing a cross-chain interoperability protocol and rich development tools, AgentLayer supports the rapid building, deployment, and management of AI Agents. AgentLayer is set to introduce the Initial Agent Offering (IAO) mode, allowing users to collectively own and benefit from AI-driven virtual assets. AgentLayer will launch an accelerator program to provide comprehensive resources for AI Agent projects, including milestone rewards, community building support, and deep ecosystem collaboration.
